Head Hog In Football Expected To Resign

The Arkansas Razorbacks are headed to the Cotton Bowl to face Kansas State on January 6 in Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

This will be the first time No. 6 Razorbacks will in play at the stadium and is the fourth time the team plays in the Cotton Bowl. Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino said in a statement to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, "I am very proud to be the coach of this team, which has stuck together all season long and kept competing."

Also known to fans as simply the Hogs, the team have a 3-0 record, beating Texas A&M in the venue in a nonconference game each season since 2009. No. 8 Kansas State (The Wildcats) will be making its third appearance in the Cotton Bowl. The game is predicted to be the highest-ranked postseason match-up outside of the Bowl Championship Series.

The Cotton Bowl is scheduled to kick-off at 7 p.m. It will be televised by FOX.
