Wars and rumors of wars--when you hear that statement what do you think? I think guns, bombs military force and dead people...

But there's another war coming that can produce dead people -- it's the currency war. I don't mean physically dead, I'm talking about "dead in the water." Dead to our current financial situation. Sure, times are bad, but what if they get worse?

On Wednesday, Reuters reported some of the top Central Banks got together in an effort to give cheaper dollar funding to banks in Europe at risk of completely failing, causing EU ministers to plead for assistance from the IMF in the form of a bail out.

The mighty eagle could also become handicapped and unable to soar if something doesn't change.

None other than Ron Paul has been warning of it for years when he said, "Believe me, the next step is a currency crisis because there will be a rejection of the dollar. The rejection of the dollar is a big, big event and then your personal liberties are going to be severely threatened."

You know what happens when someone is drowning? It's not good to try to help them. If you do, you are taking a risk that they will grab you in an attempt to save themselves and pull you under, and you could both die.

That may just be the scenario unfolding in the world today as we take a look at currency wars. Let me introduce you to one of my special guest writers, he is Dwayne Williams from Alabama, weighing in on our current crises.

Ron Paul is right again, the United States is bankrupt. Our Federal reserve has roughly 60 Billion in Capital but roughly 3 Trillion in liabilities?

That's an astonishing fact if it is true and James Rickards is a very well respected economist. The world is involved in a currency war and Sovereigns are smoking the printing presses in a race to the bottom. That can ONLY lead to inflation.

Listen to James Rickards, he hints of how to protect yourself.

We are in for a very tough next couple of years. Rickards didn't outright say it but I, reading between the lines, heard that the IMF is setting itself up to be the World's Bank, issuing currency with either SDR's, Gold or a combination.

That would mean a radical change in America's status in the world. If this currency takes over as the World's Reserve Currency then Ron Paul's warnings will have come to fruition. Our status in the world will have been diminished.

Why are our politicians silent, except for Ron Paul on this clear and convincing threat to the United States National Security?

If we go down financially all the other issues will be naught. This is the REAL threat to the United States of America--not the Middle East.

What do you think--is there anything we can do about the currency wars?
