Colombian police said Wednesday the arrest of three suspects responsible for kidnapping the girl Valentina Muñoz Nohora last September.
According to authorities, this is FARC, what was to prove the involvement of the guerrilla organization in the kidnapping of the child.
The insurgent group has always denied any responsibility for the plagiarism, which sparked a wave of repudiation in Colombia and internationally.
The girl was released in October after 19 days of captivity, through the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross, an organization that promised to keep quiet about the identity of the kidnappers.
In reporting the arrest, the Colombian police chief, General Oscar Naranjo, said that in the coming days there might be other catches linked to the case.
