New York-based stand-up comedy icon Patrice O'Neal passed away in New York City hospital on Tuesday following the diabetic related stroke in October. His age was 41.
The news of Patrice’s death has also been confirmed by his agent Matt Frost. "It is with terrible sadness we must report that Patrice O'Neal has passed away this morning,” Frost confirmed.
Boston born 41-year-old comedian started his career in the early '90s. He was well-known for his roles in the Comedy Central special "Elephant in the Room," and HBO comedy special "One Night Stand." He also appeared in guest roles in TV shows including "The Office" and "Arrested Development".
He made appearance on the big screen as well with "In the Cut," "25th Hour" and "Head of State" as his famous movies.
