The British government has urged its citizens to leave Iran immediately

Iranian protesters break into the British embassy

The British government called the storming of the British Embassy in Tehran by student protesters on Tuesday "utterly unacceptable" and demanded that the Iranian government protect British diplomats in the country.

According to France Press, The British government condemned the attack to British Embassy by protesters and called it utterly unacceptable.

Also the British foreign ministry claimed that the Iranian gavernment has the duty to protect all personnel and diplomats of the British Embassy in Iran.

This ministry announced "we expect from the Iranian government to control the situation and guarantee the safety of British Embassy's staff."

The ministry has urged its citizens inside the Iran to leave the country immmediately and at the same time asked all other British citizens, palnning to go to Iran, to delay their travel.

The Foreign ministry adviced all its citizens inside the Iran to refrain from going outside, abstain from all unnecessary calls to outside of Iran, and wait for other instructions.
