High school student Emma Sullivan drew the attention of national news after officials at Kansas Governor Sam Brownback’s office complained about her tweet. Just made mean comments at gov. brownback and told him he sucked, in person,” a high school senior Sullivan tweeted.

The principal of her school forced Sullivan to write an apology letter by Monday, but she refused to do so. “I’ve decided not to write the letter but I hope this opens the door for average citizens to voice their opinion & to be heard,” Sullivan tweeted. Within 2-3 days her Twitter account has got 6,526 followers and the numbers are growing. Follow Emma Sullivan on Twitter.
