Tajikistan to release two Russian pilots, Estonia

A court in Tajikistan has released two pilots imprisoned in an effort to defuse the tense relations between Central Asiancountries and Russia.

22:11 Prosecutors on court suggested reducing the pilot projectSadovnichy and colleague Vladimir Alexei Rudenko (the originalRussian Estonia) on charges of illegal entry and smugglingTajikistan airspace aircraft components.

Sadovnichy and Rudenko had been imprisoned six months sincehis arrest in March. Courts have their parole from prison eightyears and a half to 2 ½ years, but these people would be freed inan amnesty day to 1.12.

According to Russian news agency RIA Novosti, Russiaconsiders the two pilots on the conviction as "politically motivated" and has decided to deport hundreds of workersTajikistan. Tajikistan's economy depends heavily on remittancesfrom workers and labor Tajikistan working in Russia.
