Mila Kunis is the latest celebrity to attend a military function as a “date.”went to his dance a few weeks ago; Kunis honored her promise to Sergeant Scott Moore last night. The pair attended the Marine Corps Ball in Greenvillle, North Carolina.
Will invitations to celebrities become a new fad? It seems as though it is too difficult to turn down the men and women who serve our country.
Sgt. Moore asked Kunis to be his date via YouTube: “Hey Mila. It’s Sergeant Moore, but you can call me Scott. I just wanted to take a moment out of my day to invite you to the Marine Corps Ball on November 18th in Greenville, North Carolina, with yours truly.”
The video message was posted on YouTube from Afghanistan. Moore posted the video last July in hopes that his “dream girl” would accompany him to the dance, once he returned home.
Justin Timberlake and Fox411 news asked Kunis about the video invite. Timberlake, who had received a similar invitation, encouraged Kunis to accept. Kunis accepted on the spot, via Fox411.
According to other party revelers, Kunis appeared to have a great time at the Ball. She and Sgt. Moore, member of the 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marines, danced the night away. The Ball honored the 236th birthday of the Marine Corps.
