Time for more results…
After reminding everyone that the results are revealed in no particular order, host Steve Jones announced the remaining six safe contestants. Chris Rene, Melanie Amaro, Josh Krajcik, Marcus Canty, Drew, and Rachel Crow.
Astro and Stacy Francis are in the bottom two and will have to sing for their life. The final decision as to who will go home will be in the hands of the judges after each has performed in the final showdown.
Up first was Stacy who sang “Amazing Grace”. She was followed by Astro who came out and said that he didn’t think he should perform but would if his mentor said so; he then asked the audience before he finally did another rap.
LA said that Astro came out and acted like a quitter, saying that at this point it was all about attitude. He chose to send Stacy home. Not surprising Nicole chose Astro to go home. After saying that they needed to always walk with gratitude, Paula chose to send Stacy home. The final decision came down to Simon who had a few chose words to Astro who felt the rapper was copping an attitude. Astro’s response was that he didn’t want to perform for someone who didn’t want him. In the end, Simon chose to send Stacy home solely on the premise that he felt Astro had the best chance of winning.
Stacy asked to be heard and thanked the judges and admitted that she didn’t do a great job on her performance last night and admitted that she had not always been happy with her song choices.
Due to the Thanksgiving holiday next week, “The X Factor” will air on Tuesday and Wednesday instead of the normal Wednesday and Thursday.
