RABAT - The Arab League has commissioned its experts to prepare a plan to impose economic sanctions on Syria in an attempt to get her to stop the repression: it says a statement of the organization's foreign ministers, meeting in Rabat, Morocco.

The Arab League had said four days ago that would have imposed sanctions against Damascus. Tonight asks ministers to''come together to study economic aspects of economic sanctions on Syria''and''present their recommendations at the next meeting of the Arab League.''
