Tuesday afternoon, news broke that 13-month-old Tyler Dasher went missing from his home in Affton, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis. Shortly after, police officers closed down a stretch of River Des Peres road between Gravois and Chippewa. Neighbhors walking the stretch of road in the area of Dasher's home discovered the baby's dead body by a wooded area of River Des Peres.

Conflicting reports from people who knew the mother and father of Tyler Dasher said Tyler's mother, Shelby Dasher, was a great mother and would never hurt her baby, others commented that Shelby wasn't a good mother to her baby.

At 2:00 a.m. Shelby Dasher was booked at the county jail on suspicion of first-degree murder. She will be on a 24-hour hold unless more charges are brought upon her. Shelby was photographed with police officers going through the crime scene on River Des Peres and at her home during the early hours of the morning.

Unofficial reports say that Shelby Dasher was angry with her baby because he would not stop crying. Dasher threw him across the room, ultimately killing the boy. Shelby Dasher's Facebook is viewable and there is one photo album of her and baby Tyler.
