We have been hearing all about the growth in China and that one day it will surpass the U.S. Well the time has finally come-China is set to overtake the US next year as the world's largest producer of manufactured goods. This is happening four years earlier than expected because of the rapidly weakening US economy.
Global Insight revealed the acceleration in a forecast for FT. Estimates indicate, China next year will account for 17% ($11,783bn) of manufacturing value-added output and the US will make 16%.
