There's a new little monster on the loose in Innisfil as local author/illustrator DebbA. Bowen releases her first book 'My Monster Lost It' Nov. 11 on Amazon.com Kindle.

Debb, a long time resident of Innisfil, has been working diligently on the book for the last four years, as her non-gender specific character Jessie discovers why all the library books are missing. It turns out there is a little blue monster called Lost It who is the culprit, and the two set off on an adventure to find them.

The book is wonderfully bright and colourful, which makes it very appealing to kids, with lots of rhyming and repetition to help reading as well as a story every child can relate to! Along the way afew more monsters turn up, as well as the lost library books and afew other surprises too!

Writer/Reporter/Reviewer Stephanie Ealy delivers the book's first review on Amazon:

"I loved this book because I am an accounts payable employee for a school district and am nonstop refunding money back for lost books that were finally found.

I process countless fines per month. It is a lot of work and many hands must participate in the process. From the parent, school librarian, school budget clerk, purchasing technician, to me processing the check, sending it in the mail, and the parent taking it to the bank. All that for a refund back to the family for one lost library book!

Every library should carry this book. It is very cute and educational and lightens up the issue that EVERY family must deal with--lost library books. Whether it is at the local library or the school library it is an issue everyone can relate to, especially parents.

Excellent writing, editing and illustrating. The characters, rhyming, and story line are well thought-out, put-together, and fun.

Every library frequenter and family will enjoy this book, as they will be able to relate to this common and exhausting issue.

...It is very cute! Good job! I like Getchya, Gotchya, Hide it and Lost it!"

Stephanie Ealy, Tacoma, Washington

The book is available at amazon.com kindle just in time for the Christmas season, and is a very reasonable $4.99
