The same manufacturer, Baxter Healthcare Corp., that was responsible for distributing tainted avian flu vaccines has recalled 300,000 flu vaccines because they apparently have “serious adverse reactions!”
Baxter Healthcare Corp. has just announced that it is recalling some 300,000 doses of their Preflucel Influenza Vaccine because it is has had far too many “adverse events.”
The British online newspaper The Daily Mail reported that individuals injected with the apparently tainted batch reported such symptoms as headaches, fatigue and muscle pain.
Preflucel Influenza Vaccine was developed by Baxter to cater especially to individuals with egg allergies and while those adverse side effects are expected in limited subjects, the particular batch had a very high incident of effected individuals.
Now, I don’t know about you, but when I used to get the “flu shot” at work I invariably suffered those symptoms!
The flu shot was given out for free to employees via corporate “Health Fairs” who were made to feel bad if they didn’t take advantage of the $25 value because getting the flu meant being away from work and it was a social responsibility to not get the flu and give it to others at work. Now many natural health advocates are saying that they’re “soft kill.”
Back to Preflucel, Baxter has instructed healthcare providers not to administer any further shots – regardless of what batch it may come from.
For Baxter to do that, perhaps it has become a serious liability for the company with serious health complications that can be attributed to it alone, which begs the question: How bad is Preflucel for Baxter to discontinue it indefinitely?
