According to President house of Greece, Greek political party leaders agreed Lucas Papademos, named Greece's new Prime Minister till former until next election. Papademos is former European Central Bank vice-president.
After recommendations by political leaders who attended the meeting in President house has instructed Papademos to form a new government.
He is sixtyfour. He said after the nomination of his office as Prime Minister, he was taking over at a critical point for Greece.
Mr Papademos, who is not a member of parliament, will head an interim government until elections can take place in February.
According to President house, the new government will be sworn in on Friday.
