Mighty storm hits Alaska's western coast

One of the most mighty storms to arrive at western Alaska in almost 40 years knocked about coastal communities with snowfall and hurricane-force breaking wind, pulling more or less residents to try higher ground as it bumped out forceand ripped up roofs.

As the storm roiled the Bering ocean, residents and exigency responders aroused for a potential surge of sea water into seaward communities.

Water already has accomplished homes in at least four aboriginal hamlets, admitting Tununak and Kipnuk,
