News sources Associated Press and SI.com. Tempe Arizona. Arizona Cardinals starting quarterback Kevin Kolb is listed as doubtful in the injury report submitted to the National Football League (NFL) office this week to be able to participate in Sunday's game in Arizona versus the St. Louis Cardinals.

Backup quarterback John Skelton who is in his second season in the league will replace Kolb as the starting quarterback.

Kolb is suffering from a turf toe injury in his right foot that was injured early last Sunday in the Cardinals heartbreaking loss to the Baltimore Ravens 30-27 in Baltimore. Kolb remaned in the game despite the injury but after the game he was wearing a walking boot until Wednesday when the boot was removed but he did not participate in the Cardinals' practice sessions.

St. Louis starting quarterback Sam Bradford participated in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. Bradford is listed as questionable to play on Sunday.
