5th Nov 2011: More than 2.5 million pilgrims have gathered in Arafat to perform Hajj.Dhul Hijja, is the climax of the hajj season, Main rites of Hajj have been started from Friday all the pilgrims have ben gathered around Mount Arafat and its surroundings they would have to stay there untill evening they will recite the HOLY QURAN and PRAYING.Our Holy Prophet Peace Be Upon Him have delivered his final hajj in Mount Arafat, then the pilgrims will leave for Arafat and Mina they would have to stay there untill midnight then they will gather pebbles "STONING OF THE DEVIL".

The pilgrims will head back to Mina after Dawn prayer 10th of Dhul Hijjah, or the Eid Al-Adha feast, the first stoning rites are known as Jamarat al-Aqabah, after that the pilgrims will proceed to offer sacrifice this is a rite to emulate Hazrat Ibrahim who sacrifice his son Hazrat Ishmael on the order of God.
