War on Al Shabaab: Kenya joins forces with Somalia

The kenyan defence forces fighting Al Shabaab in Somalia have confirmed that three arms loaded planes have landed in Baidoa town, Somalia. The arms which are said to be delivered to Al shabaab are highly suspected to be from Eritrea, a country that has alaways been suspected to be sympathetic to Al Shabaab militants in Somalia. The arms are reportedly meant to repulse the Kenyan military forces in Somalia. The TFG government fighting alongside Kenyan troops has confirmed the reports. Meanwhile, the Eritrean government has in turn passed the blame to Ethiopia its prime rival for the last decade. The Ethiopian government is yet to refute the allegations made by Eritrea.

The kenyan forces that are on their way to capture Kismayu, the coastal port town which is also the bedrock of income for the Al Shabaab are said to be preparing a mission to blow up the arms cargo. That is according to the Kenyan military spokesman.
