PUERTO PRINCESA UNDERGROUND RIVER AND ITS WONDERS FOR ECO-TOURISM

The Puerto Princesa underground River is one of the 18 candidates for the search of the Seven Wonders of Nature in the world. Its natural awe and beauty and the only one of it kind makes it the best entry of the Philippines to the world contest.
The Department of Education of the Philippines launched it campaign for the underground river in june of the current. The voting is now on its last leg and it be counted on November 11, 2011. When chosen as one of the seven wonders of nature, the Puerto Princesa underground River will further boost the very viable eco-tourism industry of Puerto Princesa City and the province of Palawan in particular and the Philippines in general.
Puerto Princesa City and the province of Palawan have been known for their world records in eco-tourism industry and their positions on the world map will be strengthened further when the underground river will land to one of the seven places in the search.
