Passengers stranded on the runway for 7 hours due to snowstorm

Air travel had never before been troubled with so many uncertainties as travelers are facing today – the latest to get added to the list is a JetBlue flight that was left stranded on the runway with 126 passengers onboard at an unscheduled stopover.

It was the snowstorm at Newark International airport that forced the diversion of the flight to the Bradley International airport. The passengers had to endure an ordeal of 7-hours and were denied any food or drinking water. They had to also cope with clogged toilets. They were later rescued in buses that took them from the aircraft to the nearby terminal.

It was Flight 504 from Fort Lauderdale to Newark International airport.
