Sarajevo Bosinia and Herzegovina: On Friday a gunman opened fire with automatic gun at the U.S. embassy in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia. This attack resulted at least one injured. The injured person was a guard of the embassy, reported.
Radio Bosnian broadcasted that the man who was armed with a Kalashnikov Rifle sniper, shoted by the policemen after a confrontation. But the police spokesman said, the man was apparently still alive. Police cordoned off the area's business district and shopping in the city center.
The spokesman from inside the embassy confirmed that an incident took place near the embassy. He said on telephone that gates of the embassy was closed. Now we are waiting for the police to impose order."
Meanwhile a hospital official told on Bosnian television that the security guard and the one who was expected an attacker taken to hospital with a bullet in the arm.
