The Supreme Court on Friday observed that the personal interests of some destroyed the system of Pakistan Railways. Athree-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry who has hearda case motu her regarding payment delays due to the pensionersof Pakistan Railways.

Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry's found that non-payment was against the rights of workers.

The Supreme Court ordered the retirement of the web to openbank accounts close to their homes and also sought details of theengine failure during hear the case.

In addition, the Chief Justice warned that the court may stop thepayment of salaries to officials of the Pakistan Railways high-ranking retired if the debts were not removed immediately. Hesaid that the land was selling expensive railways.
