NATO and Libya - Disarming Tripoli

Former Libyan strong man Muammar Gaddafi's son Seif al-Islam and former intelligence chief Abdullah al-Senussi who happens to be his brother-in-law wanted to surrender in the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague if guaranteed their safety.

The two had been trying to broker a deal through a third country, to hand themselves in and might be Niger where they fled - according to NTC official.
