Four Nato vehicles, two trucks burnt in Torkham bomb blasts

LANDIKOTAL: Four Nato armour vehicles and two trailer trucks were

burnt to ashes when two consecutive blasts occurred in two trailers

parked in a private parking lot at Torkham border, however, no

casualty reported, security forces sources said on Thursday.

The sources said two consecutive blasts happened at 8:10 p.m. in two

trailers bearing registration numbers (B-2410) and (Z-6056) and caught

fire after the blasts. The trailer trucks loaded with Nato armors

vehicles were waiting for departure to Afghanistan. However, no

casualty was reported as no crew member of the trucks were present

near to it at the time of blasts, sources said. The Nato vehicles and

trailer trucks had been brunt completely before reaching of fire

fighters from Landikotal. The Torkham-Landikotal road was remain

closed for one hour in precautionary measure to avoid untoward

situation, the sources said.
