Puerto Princesa's main attraction, the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site almost two years ago, December 04, 1999, because of its ecological value.
It also has the longest navigable underground river in the world. The five mile-long river features a limestone formation. Check out the photos above of the park that is voted to be one of the new seven wonders of nature.
You will see an image of a banca (boat) passing under a mushroom-shaped rock formation inside the park located at Kabayugan town, Puerto Princessa, Palawan.
