Author Robert Tilford is a graduate of the U.S. Army Infantry School at Ft. Benning Georgia, who served during the cold war in the 82nd Airborne Divison at Ft. Bragg N.C. with the 2nd 508th Abn Infantry Regiment ("the Devils in baggy pants") and with the 1st Infantry 5/16th Infantry at Ft. Riley in Kansas. He has studied Russian military doctrine, defense and strategy for well over 21 years. Is considered an expert in unconventional and asymmetrical warfare.
