Multiple news sources reported that Denver Broncos wide receiverhas been traded to the St. Louis Rams for a conditional fifth round choice if Lloyd can catch 30 or more passes for the remainder of the 2011 football season according to ESPN's Adam Schefter report on his twitter account.
The Denver Post reported on Monday that Lloyd was told he was not to report to the Denver Broncos practice facility.
The St. Louis Rams accquired Lloyd to improve their team which has only scored 49 points in five games in 2011.
NFL.com reports Lloyd is scheduled to earn a salary of $1.395 million in 2011, which is in his final year of his contract. The Rams are going to be negotiating a new contract with Lloyd before the football season ends but so far there are no news of any contract negotiations yet.
