Story Line: Set in a medieval village that is haunted by a werewolf, a young girl falls for an orphaned woodcutter, much to her family's displeasure.

My Thoughts: I thought this movie was the darker side of the Red Riding Hood books. It was nothing special. Especially the wolf was more a warewolf than he was a wolf. I really didn't think it was anything special, because really it wasn't creepy at all, and I think that is what they were trying to do for this movie.

Acting: Amanda Seyfried plays Valerie. I thought she did an ok performance, but nothing really special. Really she isn't well my favorite actress, but maybe with more work under her belt she will prove to be a better performer than she is.

Shiloh Fernandez plays Peter. I thought he was a decent actor. Probably my favorite character of all the actors in this movie. I think he has a decent future in acting and hope him good luck.

Julie Christie plays Grandmother. I thought she did ok for this movie. Kinda what I didn't expect for her role.

Bottom Line: This movie is a rent it not buy type of movie to watch. I give this movie a 4 out of 10.
