The BBC condemned the guilty verdict issued by a court of Tajikistan against Urinboy Usmonov, a journalist with British public corporation, for "complicity in the activities of a banned Islamist organization."According to the BBC, during the trial did not show evidence of the allegations against Usmonov.The journalist was sentenced to three years in prison, but he immediately ordered his release under an amnesty.Arrested last June, has denied the charges Usmonov, and the BBC has insisted that he was simply doing his job when he was arrested.The lawyers will appeal the conviction.
