11-month-old baby girl Lisa Irwin has not been recovered yet. Police have been actively investigating her case, but no clue has been found up until now. Lisa's family has appointed a private investigator to help them find their child. Bill Stanton, the investigator, is going to work in cooperation with the authorities and the media to solve the mystery. He was hired for the Irwin family by someone else, whose name has not been disclosed.
Lisa has been missing from her home at 3620 North Lister Avenue since October 4. Her parents realized she was not in the house when her father, Jeremy Irwin, came back from night shift and went to see her. He also found the front window open and the door was also unlocked. Three mobile phones were also missing from the house. Lisa's mother, Deborah Bradley, told police that she put the child to bed herself at night around 10:30 p.m.
Extensive search is being carried out to look for the poor baby. An abandoned house at 38th Street and Brighton Avenue was thoroughly searched including an abandoned well in the backyard, but it did not lead to any evidence. The water from the well was pumped out, but nothing was found.
The story took a new turn when Lisa's mother was suspected to be involved in the disappearance of her child. A surveillance camera footage showed her shopping with an unknown person in the afternoon before the incident. However, Sgt. Stacey Graves from Kansas City Police later declared that no suspects had been identified.
Ashley Irwin, baby's aunt, said that she trusted Lisa's mother and had no doubt about her involvement in Lisa's disappearance. She believes that a mother can never harm her child.
Lisa's parents were initially reported for not cooperating with police, but then they resumed the contacts to continue with the investigations. Police carried out a fake intrusion into the house to get an idea about the intrusion that kidnappers made at night. Also, footages of the interviews taken from the neighbors, family members and friends by various television channels have been requested by police to get help in the investigations.
The family, friends and neighbors are praying for Lisa's recovery and wellbeing. The baby is said to have cough and cold at the time she disappeared. She is a beautiful child with blue eyes and blond hair. Her height is around 30 inches and weight around 30 pounds.
