has revealed that during her time at the Italian prison, she was sexually harassed by a high-ranking Italian jail administrator. Knox alleged this in a letter to "48 Hours Mystery" correspondent Peter Van Sant. The letter reportedly explains the exploitation and sexual bullying Knox underwent while in prison.
According to Peter Van Sant, Knox told him that a prominent administrator at the prison would take her to his place of work and say many unsuitable things that would leave her horrified. The report about sexual harassment of Amanda Knox was leaked ahead of a "48 Hours Mystery" exclusive concerning the case of Amanda Knox.
"We learn about sexual harassment inside prison where an administrator would take her up to his office alone at night and say a number of inappropriate things to her, and that left Amanda terrified," Van Sant said on "The Early Show" prior to a report set to air on Saturday night's "48 Hours Mystery,"
The stunning brown-haired girl and her boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito were set free earlier this week following the overturning of their murder conviction by an appeals panel. Knox, an ex-student at the University of Washington, and her boyfriend were convicted of murdering Meredith Kercher, a British student and roommate of Knox in Perugia.
Knox returned to her family home in Seattle this week. Her father told the "48 Hours Mystery” that his daughter was gradually fine-tuning to life outside jail.
According to Knox’s father, he noted Knox droop in her chair as the court announced the verdict Monday and right away thought the conviction had been endorsed. But, an Italian attorney then said "she's free."
"I watched Amanda. And I saw her slump. And I went, 'No.' And then our attorney that speaks English turned around and said, 'She's free.' And I'll tell ya - couldn't be - couldn't be better,’ Curt Knox told Van Sant.
Moreover, Rudy Guede, a settler hailing from Ivory Coast, was taken offender in another trial of murdering Kercher. Attorneys for Knox and Sollecito reiterated that Guede was the only person involved in murdering Kercher.Knox told reporters on Tuesday that she is very overwhelmed being among her family after four years in prison. She said her family is the most important thing for her right now and she just wants to go and be with her family.
