There are a new set of rules for transgender people that they need to abide by in order to be acceptable to the court of law. There has been a new set of guidelines issued for the `Standards of Care' that need to be used for transgender, by the World Professional Association for Transgender Health.

The new version of the guidelines with the changes under effect, are going to work for the benefit of the trans-patients as now they are going to have a larger say in what needs to be done for their treatment.

"The previous versions of the SOC were always perceived to be about the things that a Trans person must do to satisfy clinicians."

The SOC is a very essential advisory panel for the transgender people as they need to follow the set of rules for the effective functioning of their care at health organizations and so on. These amendments are sure to be of aid to the people as they provide more freedom to them.
