Former Godfather's Pizza CEO and Republican candidate for president Herman Cain

While all of the Republican candidates that are running in the 2012 GOP Primary state that this present economy stinks, only one candidate has given specifics on a business plan that could cause for things to get rolling again. That person is Herman Cain. The plan that he is talking about is called the "999 Plan." The idea is a great concept, but is it really effective?

To prove that it is efficient, one must know the details of the plan. The 999 Plan would put an end to payroll tax, capital gains tax, and the death tax. Therefore, the plan would help out both employees and employers.

Each 9 in the 999 plan represents a three-fold 9 percent tax upon three economic factors:

- 9% Business Flat Tax

- 9% Individual Flat Tax

- 9% National Sales Tax

The federal tax rate as of now is around 28%. Therefore, if this plan was implemented, then taxes would be cut by as much as 19% nationwide. Plus, the only compromise would be that sales tax would go up in the range of 1-2% across the nation. As consumers, we could all pay a few extra pennies on purchases if taxes were lowered 19 percent.

Totally off subject, there is also something interesting about the number 999. Using Greek gematria, the phrase te orge mou (tau-eta, omicron-rho-gamma-eta, mu-omicron-upsilon) adds up to 999. That phrase in Greek means the "wrath of God." Herman Cain's poll numbers continue to rise because he is clearly the best candidate so far. However, the GOP electorate must prove to the nation that their racist ways have ended by voting for him throughout this primary. Don't worry; I will be watching.
