Fabric Of Abuse

Have you ever wondered how and why clothes are still affordable throughout the world? The answer is because of the tiny former Soviet republic called Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan is currently the number one producer of cotton on this earth.

However, most of the people that live in Uzbekistan remain in deep poverty due to the Uzbek government exploiting its own people. The grossest misjustice by their government is that they profit on illegal child labor.

This problem must be corrected as soon as possible because this situation could be exarcebated within the next few years. Former and soon-to-be Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin wants to include Uzbekistan along with the former Soviet Republics into an Eurasian Union that would mirror the European Union or the former Soviet Union. If Russia would gain control of this vital market, then even more children would be forced into labor.
