Malaysia Court has forced a man to compensate 100,000 ringgit($ 31,000, about 646 million U.S.) for defaming a center for trainingmechanics on Facebook, according to lawyers who today 1.10.
AFP quoted the lawyer K. His Paramanathan Leong Yook Kong, said in the state court concluded that Mr Leong Penang libeledcenter where his son studied in the three articles on Facebook last year.
Mr Leong, a 46-year-old retiree, has sent comments to imply thatthe center said on fraud and bribery after his son failed acertification exam repair and maintenance of vehicles.
Mr. Leong is a total of 100,000 ringgit to pay money damages and costs, according to Paramanathan. He is also not allowed to postdefamatory statements on the Facebook.
