Marisa Tomei wows at The Ides Of March premiere!

Actress Marisa Tomei proved that she was right on-trend when she attended the premiere of the Columbia Pictures film The Ides Of March held at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Samuel Goldwyn Theatre on September 27, 2011 in Beverly Hills, California.

Translucent chiffon designs are all the rage on the runways of New York, London, Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks and Tomei’s daring maroon chiffon and leather dress had them wide eyed! Marisa accessorized with black strappy sandals and a beige clutch bag.

Also attending the premiere were actresses Jacinda Barrett (an LBD), Evan Rachel Wood (black and white chic!), Stacy Keibler (in silver lamé and Clooney’s sweetheart per rumor!), Kate Mara (love the chess board patterned dress!), Dyan Cannon (love the skinny jeans and ruffled blouse!) and actors Actors Ryan Gosling, George Clooney, and Jeffrey Wright – who all looked very handsome!

Directed by George Clooney himself, The Ides Of March stars Ryan Gosling, George Clooney, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Paul Giamatti and Marisa Tomei.

Based on the play by Beau Willimon, the plot of The Ides Of March centers on an idealistic staffer for a presidential candidate gets a crash course in dirty politics during his stint on the campaign trail.

The Ides Of March has a release date of October 7 and should be at Atlanta theaters around that time.
