Down syndrome has long been researched by scientists who believe that since these species of people have an extra chromosome they ought to function exceptionally well as some autistics ones do. More and more scientists seem to be getting closer to the true capabilities of Down syndrome human species.

Recent studies have revealed a medicine which is expected to improve cognition and memory in these clients. Dr. Alberto Costa, an associate professor of medicine and neuroscientist at the Colorado State University is passionately pursuing this research since his daughter is affected by the condition too.

So far, however, without medication once managed from the perception of love and integrity many Down syndrome people have been high achievers. Some important names are Stephanie Ginnsz the first Down syndrome actor; Max Lewis another Hollywood actor only 12 years old.

Joey Moss works as Edmonton Oilers hockey team locker room attendant. Paula Sage is another Scottish actor who has made an impart in the world. Judith Scott was a famous artist. Karen Gaffney, a Polish athlete had made a remarkable contribution to sports in her community.

Conclusively, while Dr. Alberto Costa works assiduously on a drug to improve cognition and memory, apparently not all Down syndrome people have a cognition or memory deficiency. It may be just like normal people who are high achievers and some not.
