The UEFA president,
"I can say at the next Executive Committee (UEFA) that we are completely reassured and we expect to have a very beautiful here Euro," Platini said to the press in Kiev completing his inspection of the four Ukrainian host cities that are hosting matches.
Shortly before his speech at the Olympic Stadium in the capital, activists of the Ukrainian movement FEMEN protested topless at the gate of the stadium by exhibiting signs "Euro 2012 without prostitution."
Five young women half naked imitated a self-immolation at the entrance of the stadium, chanting "Euro without prostitution". Four of them were arrested by the police before the arrival of the head of UEFA, announced the move in a statement posted on his blog.
"FEMEN demands of UEFA to organize an information campaign on the inadmissibility of sex tourism" in Ukraine, the statement said.
If this request is not granted, "FEMEN not guarantee the safety of fans and football officials in Ukraine," threatened the activists.
