Super Junior is abuzz in the rhythm of many lives. Allkpop is a great source to dance with the beats of this band! Facts are that Korean Music and culture has had many Waves BOA & Rain since created a big splash in Asia and around the globe. "Super Junior’s Shindong admits he has connections to many girl idols," is the title of the linked article from the second link above. Mr. Tuxedo reports that development. Here is an excerpt: "Despite the fact that Shindong has a girlfriend, he smoothly acknowledged that he’s close with countless female idols. He explained, “I think girl idols are comfortable around me because of my‘oppa-next-door‘ image on TV shows.”"
Oppa is equivalent to a Big Brother from the female perspective while Hyung is used by younger males to show their respect and ties to a family member or older chingu. It amazes me how well Filipinos pick up the lyrics to songs from around the globe and kanta in Hangul is no exception. In my humble opinion, schools should definitely integrate an assortment of learning curricula into their language courses that include music here! In 2010, i was in the Pangasinan area for about a week and one school's graduating classes from early elementary up to the grade 6 joyfully celebrated with the Nobody But You song, Korean Version!, by the Wonder Girls.
To Your Success, however you measure it!
P.S. Not sure why it is SYU rather than SU in the Hangul, must have to do with the enunciation!
