Norwegian police have launched an investigation against the Storting politician Bard Hoksrud, working in the right-wing populist Progress Party. He resigned on Thursday from all positions of trust after he admitted that he bought six of the Latvian capital Riga this weekend. The Norwegian prostitution law applies abroad.
Last spring was shaken by the Progress Party a pedophile scandal. The terrorist attacks in July has also affected the party because the perpetrator had been a member for ten years.
