Smart Gilas also beat Syria with their game last night by 75-52. The Philippines national team got the number 2 spot of the FIBA ASIA Basketball Cup 2011.

Their next game will be the Chinese Taipei. After qualifying the quarterfinals na national team hope to beat other teams and be qualified to next year's London OLympic.
