Yemen: Tens of thousands demonstrate against

Tens of thousands of opposition supporters have in the Yemeni capital Sana'a under the protection of army units defected again demonstrating against President Ali Abdallah Saleh. The demonstrators shouted slogans such as "The Yemeni people will not stop until it is not free" and "We do not bend, we win or die." They were guarded by soldiers of General Ali Mohsen el Ahmar, who had defected to the opposition in March.

Also in Ibb and Tae went, according to eyewitnesses, thousands of people against the government on the road. Outside the headquarters of security forces in Tae therefore the soldiers opened fire on the demonstrators. Also in the neighborhood of El Raheda Taes supporters of Saleh fired on the crowd, which was, according to the organizers of one man injured.

At the same time gathered thousands of followers of Saleh in Sanaa to demand the return of the reigning president in decades. He has been an attack on his residence on 3rd June for treatment in Saudi Arabia.
