Andy Cohen's embarrasing moment at Miss Universe 2011

Andy Cohen, the famous television executive and host, got into an interesting incident at the Miss Universe pageant 2011.

Andy Cohen is the Executive Vice-President Original Programming and Development at the Bravo cable television network, a subsidiary of NBC Universal. He hosts the network's reunion shows and their topical weekly show "Watch What Happens Live".

Apparenly, Cohen was booed backstage by Miss Montenegro Nikolina Loncar. She also got some backup from her toady Miss Sri Lanka (Stephanie Siriwardana).

"Why are you so short?" Loncar hissed at Cohen -- and things went downhill from there.

The video of this embarrassing incident is available online and fans are sharing it all over social media. Andy wasn't too happy to hear such comments, especially on a miss universe pageant.

Andy Cohen did a reasonably good job at hosting the contest. In one of his blogs, before the show, Andy said that he had been rehearsing all weekend for the big show. He said, "Sao Paulo is freaking huge. Traffic is nuts and the people are intensely, awesomely hot. They all look like they're gonna bust the seams of their clothes in one way or another -- only the best ways. Everybody has an ass for miles. The women competing for "Miss Universe" are gorgeous and funny. In Hour 1 of rehearsal I mispronounced Curacao and all the 89 contestants laughed at me. So that was amusing (kind of.) There don't seem to be any other country names for me to screw up."

This wasn't the first show hosted by Andy. He had hosted the Miss USA 2011 contest prior to this Miss Universe pageant. The Miss USA 2011 pageant was the 60th Miss USA event. It was held at the Theatre for the Performing Arts in Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sunday, June 19, 2011.

The viral video of Andy Cohen and Nikolina Loncar is worth a watch. One wouldn't expect such a comment from a Miss Universe contestant. Part of it happened because Andy is always too open about his height and he talks about it in front of the public.
