Six year old ittle Emily Baldry unearthed a 160 million-year-old fossil using a seaside plastic spade.

Whilst digging at Cotswold Water Park where she had accompanied her father on an Archaelogical trip she uncovered the 130lbs. Ammomite last year.

Now after careful restoration it has gone on show at the local visitors centre in Gloucester.

The fossil is known as a RIENECKIA ODYSSEUS which Emily has christened 'SPIKE.'

Emily said " It was shown at my school and everybody thought it was great.

Her father said : " It was an amazinhg find."
