On Tuesday’s America’s Got Talent show on NBC, the four groups left had to make a big impression for their possible one million dollar moment. Singing Frank Sinatra’s hit ‘My Way’, Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr took on the vocals of a tough single and sang with his heart.
Sitting in the audience, there was no doubt, the song was from the heart. The journey, from a West Virginia car washer to the final live performance in a Hollywood Studio, there was no doubt, the passion heard was part of his quest to make it big. Hoping to win the big prize to help his family, the simple man brought a vocal talent that shocked America from the first time he performed.
“You saved the best for last,” said America’s Got Talent judge Sharon Osbourne critiquing Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr ‘s performance. The audience, still giving a standing ovation, definitely agreed.
Without question the talented man did save the best for last, leaving America the opportunity to make him a million dollar winner. Even if he goes home without winning the top prize, there isn’t any doubt there is a recording contract in his future.
