time to forgive bodhagaya re japanese gang rape bodhagaya

i have just read your report ..at the time this was a big deal in bodhagaya..the police officer dealing with this case was a friend and staying at my guesthouse.it was dealt with compassion and speed to allow this girl to return to her life.i am from scotland and have lived in bodhagaya for 5 years,i am an ex police officer.....i would like to say that all women traveling in countries unaccompanied should be carefull... i have guesthouse and i accompany or arrange for female travellers to get to station. ,this young lady refused assistance from her hotel reception to organise taxi and arranged her own transport . i have travelled alone in india for twenty years accept help from hotels they will only send you with drivers they know .bodhagay has suffered because of this incident when it will recover we dont know.....3 of the men are now serving life in prison the other 2 have absconded and their families have lost property because they could not be directly punished none of them were residendts of bodhagaya.........be careful as you would in your own country....ann roberts-kumar, karma guesthouse, bodhagaya
