(Tragic Photos) Hundreds Killed after a Tourist Ferry Sunk Off in Zanzibar

(Check It Out! Pictures!) ZANZIBAR, Tanzania- Death toll climbs to 200 after an overloaded tourist boat sinks off in Island of Zanzibar, Tanzania on September 10, 2011.

Based on report, the MV Spice Islander was carrying heavy cargos with almost 800 passengers on board when the ferry leaves Zanzibar's port.

According police commissioner Musa Ali Musa, the ferry sinks at about midnight while on the way to Pemba Island from port of Zanzibar.

In a statement from Nairobi office of Ecoterra International, the passenger vessel may have sunk because it was over capacity.

More than 500 were rescued including childrens. Officials believed that the death toll may rise up to 300.
