Small boy survives Russian passenger jet crash

A Russian passenger jet crashed due to heavy fog and burst into flames on Monday night on a highway in north-western Russia.

The jet just short of a runway whose fog lights had failed resulting in 44 people. Eight people survived the crash including a ten years old boy and aan airhostess who were hospitalised in serious condition in Petrozavodsk.

According to official reports, the Tu-134 plane, belonging to the RusAir airline, was en route from Moscow to the city of Petrozavodsk.
