High court judges should follow the rule of law, Abdul Latif Afridi

Peshawar, 7 September 2011, Judges of High Court should follow the rule of law and didn’t give any order to lower courts judges. The statement com from vice chairman of Pakistan bar council Abdul Latif Afridi here in Peshawar on Wednesday.

He was talking on Eid Milan Party, which has organized by Peshawar district bar. Member bar and serving judges were attended the Eid Milan Party.


Vice chairman of Pakistan bar council Abdul Latif Afridi said that every one talk the liberty of Judiciary, But it’s imposable because civil judges, session judges facing different problem, they even didn’t have good pay. Some time after transfer the Judges facing problem of housing in other district, that makes difficulties for the Judiciary.

Latif Afridi said that in some cases lower courts face pressure from High Courts and it’s not easy for lower courts judges, because if they disobey the order then management send to far long areas. He said that corruption is in different faces in our system, only money is not they way of bribery, judges gives instruction to lower courts, which is corruption. President of Peshawar District Bar Raza Ullah speak to the Eid Milan Party.
